Details

As part of our ongoing initiatives to increase equity and diversity in the Department of Medicine, we will be hosting two workshops this fall on the topic of “How to Be an Ally.” These sessions will provide faculty with the skills and language required to effectively address instances of incivility or inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, and will build upon the discussion started during last year's Women in Academic Medicine (WAM) summit. Allyship has been identified as a key means to foster a culture of inclusion and professionalism in response to findings from the 2017 Faculty Survey, and is a priority for both the Department and Faculty of Medicine

We are hoping for a broad representation of our faculty at these workshops. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible.

The same workshop will also run on Nov. 20 from 6-8 pm.
