The Department of Medicine is one of the largest in North America, with 946 full-time faculty members, 1,000 postgraduate trainees, and 20 sub-specialty divisions located across 6-fully affiliated hospitals, 4 community-affiliated hospitals and more than a dozen additional clinical practice sites. Applicants must hold an MD degree, be a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialist and or be eligible for certification in the RCPSC and licensure in Ontario. The preferred hospital site for the Director’s clinical activities will be negotiated with the successful candidate and be one of the following University’s fully-affiliated sites: Baycrest, Sinai Health System, St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University Health Network, and Women’s College Hospital; The Course Director will receive an annual stipend from the Department of Medicine in the amount of $25,000.
