2017 Workshop: Strategies for Grant Writing and Innovation

The Office of the Vice Dean, Research and Innovation, Faculty of Medicine, invites faculty, staff, and post-doctoral fellows to attend 2017 Strategies for Grant Writing and Innovation workshop addressing:

1. Services available to researchers through the Office of the Vice Dean, Research and Innovation.
2. Innovation Resources and Strategies at the University of Toronto with guest speakers Keri Damen (Managing Director, UofT Entrepreneurship), Christopher Yip (Director, IBBME) and Paul Santerre (Co-Director, Health Innovation Hub (H2i)).
3. Grant Writing and Development workshop with Daniel Harney (Grants and Awards Editor, Faculty of Medicine). Learn how to improve your grantsmanship by exploring examples of successful NSERC and CIHR grants, discussing common errors, and learning how to tailor your proposal to grant reviewers through improved style, structure and clarity.
